Ripu Plastox — Industrial Plastic & Packaging Solutions
Ripu Plastox runs an injection-cum-blow line — a hybrid that injection-moulds a precise preform (giving a perfectly formed, leak-proof neck and thread) and then blows the body. You get injection-moulding precision where it matters most — the neck finish that seals against the cap — and blow-moulding efficiency for the body.
The line was commissioned in 2025, extending our range from solid moulded parts into complete container programmes: the bottle, the closure, the label and the print, all from one plant.
A test-tube-shaped preform is injection moulded from HDPE, PP or PET — with the neck and thread formed to final precision in this step.
The preform is brought to the exact temperature window where the polymer stretches evenly — too cold and it splits, too hot and the walls thin unevenly.
The preform is clamped inside the container-shaped mould and compressed air inflates it against the chilled cavity walls in a fraction of a second.
The new container cools against the mould until rigid — wall thickness distribution is monitored so the base, walls and shoulders all meet spec.
Any excess material is trimmed, and containers are leak-tested — every container that will hold liquid must prove it.
Containers move straight to IML, dry offset or screen printing, then QC and despatch — no second factory, no transit.
